1. The reason I numbered the pictures is because they all go together. My brother in law gave our family a little vaction to Orcas Island in the San Juan Island off the coast of WA. We had an amazing time.
2.
3. Noah is blowing sand out of his hand. He is so handsome.
4. This was the view from our cabin, the weather was amazing....
5.We hiked to the top of an old observation tower, you could see for miles. Liam asked if we could see CDA from here.
Noah and Liam had a small piano recital in October, (Harrison was on a Boy Scout campout, so he wasn't able to play that night.) It was so fun, Noah played the Imperial March from the Star Wars score and Liam played the theme song from Star Wars. I have tried to get the movie on the blog but have yet to figure it out. Hopefully soon.

When I came back from Kansas City Donnie was ready to run a marithon, it was all his own, he started in Liberty Lake, WA and ended at Higgins point in Coeur d'Alene. The boys, his mom, my parents and I were all there to cheer him on at the finish line. We are so proud of him.

This picture was taken at an event that I went to with Jeff in June. His boss, Tom Campion, owner of Zumiez was nominated Entrepreneur of the Year for the Northwest and won. It was a wonderful evening.... Lots of fun people:) This post is a little our of order, I just found this picture and loved it.

The Beginning of the Goecke Family Blog

I went to visit my beautiful sister Mindee in Kansas City in October. She had just had her first baby, Claire Elizabeth Forman. During our visit, while looking through pictures and blogs, my sister has taught me how to create my own blog. I'm excited to keep everyone updated and informed on the latest and greatest about the Goecke boys.

Me with Claire Elizabeth (5 weeks old)

So here we go!

Since this is the first posting and we have so many pictures, the pictures are in reverse chronological order.

September 14, 2007
This is a picture of Tristan, getting on a airplane for the first time, and he is flying unaccompanied. :( Off to Seattle to spend a weekend with Uncle Jeff... They had a great time together, going to the Dinosaur exhibit and shopping.

September 10, 2007
This is Harrison (age 12), Noah (age 10), Liam (age 8), and Tristan (age 6) on the first day of school. We home school through IDEA (Idaho Distance Education Academy, a state-wide charter school) and started about 5 days later than everyone else.

This is the same day, the first day of Scouts. Tristan just joined Cub Scouts as a Tiger Scout, Liam went from Wolf to Bear, Noah became a second-year Weblo, and Harrison is a Boy Scout. Donnie is the Scout Leader for the Weblos and loves being with his pack of little men.

September 2, 2007
This is the boys at Priest Lake, about to go geocaching. This is an annual trip we do over Labor Day with Donnie's family. The boys have an absolute blast.

June 16, 2007
This is me with Donnie, my fabulously handsome husband, at Thompson Falls on the border of Idaho and Montana.

June 10, 2007
Here the boys are waiting to meet friends at a little Mexican restaurant in Moscow, Idaho.

June 9, 2007
We took a little trip to Moscow to catch up with old friends and decided to go to the Arboretum.

The boys in a tree (a very cool tree with one big root and lots of trunks).

Noah's action shot.

April 8, 2007
This is the boys on Easter, getting ready for church.

My intention is to update this blog every 2 weeks... We'll see what happens, but it should be at least more often than every 6 months...

Hope you enjoy!

Love you all,

Lauri (& all her guys)
